Draft pending legal review · Between Rounds · betweenrnds.com
Between Rounds keeps your sparring footage so you and your coaches can review it. This page says what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who else touches it, and how to delete it.
What we collect
- Your account: email, the name you choose, a hashed password, and a profile photo if you add one. Your photo is shown next to your name to people who use Between Rounds with you. Remove it any time; deleting your account deletes it.
- Fighter profiles: name, date of birth, and anything you add: weight class, height, stance, record, fights. Fighters are 13 or older. For a fighter under 18, the gym records that a parent or guardian consented, with the parent's name and email, and the parent can withdraw it. Rounds with a fighter under 18 in them can't be shared outside Between Rounds.
- Video of your rounds, including sound, with the date and who's in it.
- Comments, replies and notes written about rounds and fighters.
- Names you give sparring partners. They're private labels only you see.
- Consent records: what you agreed to, the exact wording shown, when, and the IP address it came from.
- Your phone's push-notification token, if you turn notifications on.
- A log of who viewed, shared or deleted footage, kept to protect you.
What we never do
- No facial recognition, and nothing that identifies you from your body across videos.
- No selling your data, and no ads.
- No public profiles. Footage is never public; share links expire within 30 days.
- Your raw video is never sent to outside analysis services.
Who can see your footage
- You always see every round you're in.
- Coaches at a gym see rounds recorded at that gym, while you're on its roster.
- A sparring partner you invite, once they accept, can see and delete rounds they're in.
- Anyone with a share link, until it expires, and only if everyone in the round agreed to sharing. You can see who shared footage of you and how often it was watched.
How long we keep it
- Footage: until you, your gym or a partner in it deletes it, and at most 3 years.
- Withdrawing recording consent deletes that profile's footage within 30 days.
- Deleting your account removes your profile, footage, partners and personal details at once.
- View and share logs: 2 years. Log-in attempts: 1 day.
Companies that help us run it
- Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database), in the United States.
- Our video provider, which stores and streams footage.
- Resend, which sends password-reset emails.
- Apple, which delivers push notifications. They never contain what a coach wrote.
Your choices
- Change or withdraw any consent in the app: Profile → Consent.
- Download your data, or delete your account: Profile.
- A gym's roster entry for you belongs to the gym. Deleting your account unlinks it; withdrawing recording consent deletes its footage.
